DICKINSON, N.D. – The Minot State volleyball team swept Dickinson State (26-24, 25-17, 27-25) in a midweek non-conference matchup on Tuesday night.
The win improves the Beavers to 4-14 (0-9 NSIC) on the season while the Blue Hawks fall to 5-12 (3-5 NSAA).
Minot State was led by
Jeanne Brenner on offense with 10 kills, followed by
Brileigh Boyce,
Shelby Spuller and
Emily Falldorf. The trio notched nine kills apiece in the three-set win.
Kelsey Dewulf recorded a double-double with 34 assists and 13 digs.
Minot State finished with a 10-4 advantage in blocks over the Blue Hawks.
Hayley Swain led the Beavers with eight blocks while Dewulf added three blocks. Falldorf and Spuller finished with two blocks each.
Mekayla Gurley and
Karli Koza recorded a team-high 15 digs.
Minot State hit .176 for the match, including a match-high .250 in the first set.
