BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Senior 
Holly Johnson received Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Player of the Week honors for the first time this season, the league announced Monday.
The Minot, N.D. native averaged 23.5 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in two games while leading Minot State to their first NSIC weekend sweep on the road since January 10-11, 2014.
Johnson scored a game-high 24 points and tied her season-high with 12 rebounds in 77-67 win at Minnesota Crookston.
In Friday night's win, Johnson scored 23 points while notching four assists and three steals in a 81-70 win at Bemidji State.
Johnson currently ranks fifth in the NSIC in scoring with 16.5 points per game.
Minot State hosts Winona State on Friday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. and Upper Iowa on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 4 p.m. in the Minot State Dome.
