•   MSU President 2004 - 2014
•   President during Minot State's transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II
•   Instrumental in Minot State becoming a member in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference
•   Minot State added women's soccer and re-instated wrestling during his presidency
•   Oversaw several major building projects including renovations to Herb Parker Stadium and Swain Hall, and the completion of the Student Wellness Center
