Barke is the first Women's Golfer to be named NSIC Player of the week after shooting a blistering 8-over-par 79 to pull away from the pack and earn medalist honors at the Minnesota State University Dragon Invite Sunday at the Moorhead Country Club.

Barke was the only player to break 80 in the event as she cut two strokes off her first-round score of 81 to finish with a 160 for the tournament. She was nine strokes better than Jamestown University's Annie Nelson.
