The university takes great pride in working in and with the community of Minot and northwest North Dakota. Our student-athletes are actively involved in both community service and community engagement projects. They are also busy with class, study, practice, competition, strength and conditioning, team functions, university functions and personal life schedules. Because of these demands, we ask all parties who seek donations and appearances, complete the form. Thank you.

Donation / Appearance Policy
NCAA regulations limit both the types of promotional activities in which student-athletes and
coaches can participate and also items the university may choose to donate. The information
on the attached form must be completed in order to determine the permissibility of each
request. Please be aware that even if a request is determined permissible by NCAA regulations,
the availability of student-athletes, coaches and/or donation items must still be considered by
the university prior to approving the request.
1. All donations must be submitted in writing at least two (2) weeks prior to the event.
2. Monetary donations from the university will not be considered or granted.
3. Copies of any flyer(s) or brochure(s) for the event must accompany the request.
4. Donations to events benefiting children grades 9-12 (high school) or from two-year colleges
are prohibited by NCAA rules and therefore cannot be processed.
5. Tickets to home athletic events are the preferred response to donation requests.
