David Akibo has been named the Minot State Athlete of the Week after his play in the Beavers NSIC road games at Northern State and MSU Moorhead. He averaged 21.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in the two contests. He had 19 points and seven rebounds against Northern State and 23 points and five boards versus MSU Moorhead.
