Whitney Hanson was named Minot State Athlete of the Week for the second time in her short career as a Beaver.

Hanson led the Minot State women's cross country team to a record year as a true freshman and finish the season with a remarkable day at the NCAA Regional competition. 

In Joplin, Mo., Hanson set another team record with her 6,000 meter time of 22:36.98. That pace was good enough for the Beavers' highest finish and 35th-place overall.
