Senior forward Reina Strand has been named one of this week's Minot State Athletes of the Week.

In her first start of the 2019-20 season, Strand tallied career-highs in both points and rebounds. She also recorded her first ever double-double as a Minot State Beaver.

Strand led the team in scoring with 16 points and rebounds with 10 boards to earn her double-double.

Two of her rebounds came on the offensive end of the court. Strand also had one blocked shot, made 6-7 shots from the field, and went 4-5 from the free throw line.

This is the first time Strand has been named Minot State Athlete of the Week.
