Senior guard Kyle Beisch has been named a Minot State Athlete of the Week for his electric performances last week versus Valley City State and UMary.

Against, Valley City, Kyle led the Beavers in scoring as Minot State defeated the Vikings 81-64. In that game, Beisch went 10-for-20 from the field, 5-for-10 from behind the three-point line, and 3-for-4 from the free throw line en route to his season-high 28. He also recorded four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

In Saturday’s conference opener in the Dome against UMary, Beisch again led the Beavers in scoring with 22 points. He again shot 50% from the field with eight makes in 16 shots. Beisch also went 6-for-10 from three with two boards, two assists, and one steal in MSU’s close loss.

This is the first time Kyle Beisch has been named Minot State Athlete of the Week.
