(MINOT, N.D.) – MSU starting pitcher Noah Myhre has been named Minot State Athlete of the Week for his historic performance at Missouri Western State on Friday evening.
 
Myhre, a first-year junior from Arizona, started the second game of a four-game series with the Griffons. Noah dominated on the mound and earned a complete-game no-hit shutout to give the Beaver their fifth win of the season.
 
Now 1-1 on the year, Myhre tossed all seven innings allowing no hits and no runs while walking just two and striking out seven opposing batters and beaning another. Those three walks were the only baserunners allowed by the MSU junior.
 
This is the first time Noah has been named MSU Athlete of the Week.
