Peyton Tuhy earned All-NSIC honors on Saturday at the NSIC Championships as he finished 2nd in the men’s 1,000 meters in a time of 2 minutes, 30.89 in the final.
Along with earning All-NSIC honors on Saturday, earlier in the month the senior from Hettinger, North Dakota, wrote his name into the Minot State history books as he broke the 25-year-old school record in the same event, clocking a time of 2:30.15 at the South Dakota State Indoor Classic on February 14, breaking the previous record of 2:30.58 run by Minot State Hall-of-Famer Brad Tighe in 2001.
