West entrance required for soccer

Herb Parker Stadium project not completed

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University Athletic Department and the MSU soccer program are requesting all spectators for Friday's and Sunday's home soccer matches use the west entrance to Herb Parker Stadium.
The Beavers open the 2011 home portion of their schedule with a 5 p.m. date with Dordt College (Iowa) at the Herb, but the stadium's bleacher project has not been completed. Spectators are asked to use the east and south berm as well as the south bleacher section to watch all the action. Parking is limited on the west side. The MSU library parking lot provides a better access point to the west entrance than the MSU Dome lot.
Handicap parking is available on the west side near the west entrance and seating will be available on the southwest berm.
MSU is also hosting a Minot Youth Soccer Day on Sunday. All Minot Youth Soccer players in uniform and their parents will receive free admission to the game. Players will then be allowed on to the field after the match with Bemidji State (1 p.m. start) to play an abbreviated match on the Field Turf.
For more information about the parking or the Minot Youth Soccer Day, please contact the MSU Athletic Department at 858-3041.
