MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University wrestling and Minot High School wrestling will partner for the second straight year and hold a Double Dual at the Dome night Thursday.
The two schools used one home date last season to hold simultaneous duals as a part of MSU's return to collegiate wrestling.
The duals begin at 7 p.m. Thursday at the MSU Dome. Minot State is scheduled to host rival Dickinson State while Minot High will take on West Region foe Mandan. There will be junior varsity matches beginning at 6 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
The cost of the Double Dual at the Dome is $6 per adult, $3 for seniors and students (age 13-18) and $2 for children (ages 6-12).
The Double Dual at the Dome is a just a kickoff to an exciting weekend of wrestling at the Dome as MSU will host its first home tournament in over 20 years.
The Minot State University Open is set for Saturday with individuals from Minot State, Jamestown College, Dickinson State, Minnesota State Moorhead, University of Regina, Montana State Northern, University of Great Falls (Mont.), University of Mary and North Dakota State possibly entering the open.
The weigh-ins begin at 8 a.m. with wrestling to start at 10 a.m.
