MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State women's soccer team travels to take on Upper Iowa and Winona State this weekend. The Beavers will face Upper Iowa on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Winona State on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Freshman
Sofia Lewis was named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week on October 2. Lewis leads the Beaver offense with eight goals, followed by fellow freshman
Jordyn Cook with five goals.
Haley Berryman has dished out a team-high five assists.
Minot State leads the NSIC with 29 goals scored and tied for second with +23 goal differential this season.
Goalkeeper
Erin Rafferty has totaled 39 saves and is 7-4-1 on the season with a 0.49 goals-against average and a .867 save percentage.
Scouting the Upper Iowa Peacocks
Upper Iowa enters the weekend with a 3-7-1 overall record and 3-5-1 mark in NSIC this season. Jordyn Ostrowski leads the Peacocks with four goals, followed by Corel Carmichael and Rachel Fowler with two goals each. Birgit Rjinders paces UIU with two assists on the season.
Goalkeeper Caila Petrie is 3-7-1 on the season with a 1.61 goals-against average and .783 save percentage.
Head coach James Price is in his second year at the helm of the Peacock program and has notched an 11-17 record at UIU. Price has recorded a career record of 139-200-33 in his 20 years of coaching.

Upper Iowa leads the all-time series with Minot State, 4-3. In their last meeting, Minot State defeated Upper Iowa 3-1 in Minot, N.D. on November 2, 2016.
Scouting the Winona State Warriors
Winona State comes into the weekend with a 6-5-1 (5-3-1 NSIC) record this season. The Warriors play host to UMary on Saturday before hosting the Beavers on Sunday afternoon. Abby Bohanski carries the Warrior offense with a team-high five goals and four assists on the season. Courtney Wiencek and Alyssa Reynolds have posted four goals apiece this season.
Goalkeeper Rachel Oleson is 6-5-1 on the season with a 1.41 goals-against average and .819 save percentage.
Head coach Dustin Beckman is in his first season leading the Warriors and holds a record of 6-5-1.

The Beavers lead the all-time series with the Warriors, 5-2. Minot State defeated Winona State 2-1 in Minot, N.D. on October 15, 2016 in their last meeting.
