MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State women's soccer team defeated a Top 25 team for the first time in school history off a golden goal from Morgan Myers in the 106th minute on Sunday afternoon at Herb Parker Stadium as the Beavers topped Minnesota State 2-1 in double overtime.

The eighth straight win improves the Beavers to 11-4-1 (10-3 NSIC) on the season while the Mavericks fall to 13-2-1 (11-1-1 NSIC) and marks the second longest winning streak in school history.

Minnesota State tied the match in the 53rd minute when Jenny Hoerter scored her team-leading seventh goal of the season for the Mavericks.

Both teams played scoreless the rest of the match, leading to a second overtime.
