MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State wrestling team will venture east to compete in the 2018 Kutztown Duals on Friday and Saturday in the Keystone Arena.

American International, East Stroudsburg, Kutztown, LIU Post, Millersville, Seton Hill, Shippensburg and UNC Pembroke join the Beavers in the two-day event.

Minot State, which is 2-7 on the season, will open the duals against LIU Post at 5 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 26) and then face East Stroudsburg at 6:30 p.m.

On Saturday (Jan. 27), Minot State will wrestle Seton Hill at 10 a.m., Millersville at 11:30 a.m. and then conclude the duals against Kutztown at 1 p.m.

Senior Mitchell Eull paces the Beavers as he has won four consecutive matches and has a 16-2 overall record. In his last match against St. Cloud State, Eull scored a 3-2 decision victory over Lawrence Phillips who was ranked 10th in the nation among heavyweights.

Sophomore Dean Arevalo (125) also notched a victory against St. Cloud State as he scored six points in the final 15 seconds of the third period to defeat Brandon Briggs 12-9. With the win, Arevalo improved to 10-4 on the season and 7-2 in dual meets.

Zach Berry (157) ranks second on the team with 14 victories on the season, while Briley Crissler (197) has nine victories and Keegan Berry (184) has eight wins.
