MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State soccer team will host a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches this weekend, including Senior Day, at Herb Parker Stadium. The Beavers will face Upper Iowa on Friday (Oct. 19) at 7 p.m. and then meet Winona State on Sunday (Oct. 21) on Senior Day at 12 p.m.
The Beavers, who are 2-0-1 in the last three matches, enter the weekend with a 7-4-3 overall record and a 5-4-2 record in the NSIC. Minot State is currently seventh in the NSIC standings with 17 points and are just two points back of Winona State for fourth place in the conference.
Minot State, which was ranked 10th in the NCAA Central Region rankings, has scored seven goals in the last three matches after scoring only one goal in the previous five matches.
Sophomore
Sofia Lewis is the Beavers leader in goals and points on the season. She has 10 goals on the year and has 25 points for the year.
Senior
Haley Berryman is second on the team with six goals and 15 points, while
Jordyn Cook is second on the squad with four assists and is third on the team with eight points.
Cook and
Jannely Rangel each have scored two goals on the year, while Berryman and
Audrey Wilson have each recorded three assists.
Junior
Erin Rafferty has a 7-4-3 record in goal for the Beavers with three shutouts and a 0.95 goals against average.

Upper Iowa is 3-9-2 on the season and 2-7-2 in conference play, while Winona State has won five straight matches and is 6-5-1 overall and 6-4-1 in the NSIC.
The Beavers will also face Jamestown in a scrimmage on Monday (Oct. 22) at 7 p.m. in Herb Parker Stadium.
