MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State wrestling team will face the University of Mary on Thursday (Jan. 24) at 7 p.m. for the Battle for the Barrel. The dual will take place in the Minot State Dome in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual.
Minot State, which is 2-9 on the season, is coming off competing in the Kutztown Duals. The Beavers went 2-2 in four matches picking up a victory's over #19 LIU post and Shippensburg.
Keegan Berry and
Jordan Will both went 3-1 in the two-day event at the Kutztown Duals.
Shadi Mitwalli posted at 2-0 record.
Redshirt freshman
Jordan Will (HWT) paces the Beavers as he has been 7-1 in his last eight matches and has a 9-4 overall record. Will, won his match against LIU Post's Tim Nagosky by fall and he also won by decision over Shippensburg's Derek Berberick 6-2 to go a perfect 2-0 on day one of the Kutztown Duals.
Sophomore
Keegan Berry (184) went 2-0 on day one of the Kutztown Duals by winning his match over LIU Post's Dan McClure on a 5-3 decision, Berry also defeated Shippensburg's Ryan Narber on a 5-2 decision.
Shadi Mitwalli (149) went 1-0 on day one and 1-0 on day two. Mitwalli defeated Shippensburg's Colton Babcock 11-2 to pick up a major decision victory and defeated Kutztown's Austin Scrivani with a 15-2 major decision victory.

Nathan Baca (165) and
Zach Berry (157) all posted wins for the Beavers at the Kutztown Duals.
The Beavers dropped a non-conference dual to the Marauders 31-12 on November 8, 2018.

Je-Mario Jones all posted victories for the Beavers in the match.
The University of Mary is ranked #24 nationally and has a 3-2 overall record and are 1-2 in the NSIC.
