MANKATO, M.N. – Nathan Baca and Jordan Will post victories, but Minot State lost to Minnesota State Mankato today 28-9 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match at Taylor Center. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Mankato opened the match with three decision wins and a technical fall to start 14-0
• Nathan Baca puts Minot on the board with a pinfall victory at 2:23 against Logan Saltou 
• Mankato wins the next three matches by decision to increase their lead to 25-6
• Jordan Will posted a decision win to trim the lead to 25-9
• Mankato wins the final match by a close 4-3 decision 

BEAVER TRACKS

• Nathan Baca posted a pinfall victory over Logan Saltou at the 2:23 mark in the 165-pound match 
• Jordan Will recorded his second career NSIC win with a 10-5 decision over Max Villnow at heavyweight

TEAM NOTES

• Minot State dropped to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in the NSIC with the loss
• Minot State posted a back-to-back win in the 285-pound match
