(MINOT, N.D.) – The Minot State wrestling team will escape the frigid winter climate of Minot and head to the desert for some competition over the holiday break.
On Sunday, Dec. 22, the Beavers will have two separate squads on the mat at the annual Desert Duals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Minot State A-Team will face off against Simon Frasier University, UNC Pembroke, Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Life Pacific at the Desert Duals. The Beavers' second squad will square off against other secondary teams across NCAA Division I, II, and III.
Coach
Evan Forde and his staff will look for matches with high-intensity and toughness from the individual grapplers as the Beavers will resume NSIC competition after the turn of the new year.
Minot State's first match after the Desert Duals is not until Jan. 9
th at Montana State-Northern.
