Minot State Soccer Loses Tough Battle to Dragons

(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State University soccer team dropped a heartbreaker to the University of Minnesota State-Moorhead in the NSIC opener by a score of 1-0.

In the Dragons' net, Kayleigh Sedlacek made only two saves without allowing a score.

For the Beavers, Melanie van Walstijn and Sofia Lewis had a busy offensive night with a combined eight shots and one on goal. Freshman Anabel Noches also made two shots. Minot State's keeper Erin Rafferty did allow the lone score but also made an impressive five saves.
