(MINOT, N.D.) -- The Minot State University soccer team is hitting the road this weekend for their first road trip in conference play. The Beavers will take on Wayne State on Friday, Sept. 27 and Augustana University on Sunday, Sept. 29. 

Minot State opened conference play with a split last weekend when they were beaten by MSU Moorhead and defeated Northern State.
 

Series History

      vs. Wayne State University 

• Minot State is undefeated against Wayne State in their history on the pitch.
• The Beavers won the first ever meeting between the teams by a score of 1-0 (10/13/12).
• The most recent contest between Minot State and Wayne State ended in a draw (9/21/18).
• The Wildcats have only scored two total goals when facing Minot State.

      vs. Augustana University  

• Augustana leads the series over Minot State 7-3.
• The Vikings won the inaugural match-up 1-0 (9/23/11).
• Augustana also won the most recent contest by the same score (9/23/18).

      Wayne State University  

• Wayne State currently holds an overall record of 1-2-2 and an NSIC mark of 1-1-0.
• The Wildcats' offense is led by Rylie Wehner who netted the only goal of the year at Sioux Falls (9/20).
• Sophomore midfielder has been the most aggressive player for Wayne State 11 total shots and nine on goal.
• Wayne State's keeper, Rachel Grisham, has allowed four goals and made 12 saves on the year.

      Augustana University 

• Augustana University boasts an overall record of 5-0-2 and an undefeated 1-0-1 mark in league play.
• Freshman Sylvia Fehr leads the offense with three goals scored this season. Fehr, along with Josie Andruser, Grace Behm, and Morgan Kierstad all operate aggressively six shots on goal each. Behm sits atop the Viking roster in total shots with 16.
• Another freshman, Josie Andruser, has been the most generous player for Augustana with three assists to her credit.
• Augustana keeper Claudia Peuschner has played well in goal with six scores allowed and 24 saves.
