Heart-Breaker in the final minutes sends Golden Bears past Beavers in NSIC tournament

MINOT, N.D.-- Minot State fell 1-0 at home to Concordia-St. Paul Wednesday at Herb Parker Stadium in the opening round of the NSIC tournament. 

The loss dropped MSU's record to 11-6-2 overall.

How it Happened

Minot State kept Concordia-St. Paul off the scoreboard in the first half before giving up the lone goal after the break in the loss. Maddie Kindred led Minot State with eight saves. The Beavers registered nine shots in the loss, five of them on goal. Minot State faced 12 Concordia-St. Paul shots, nine of them on goal.

The Beavers will now await and hope that some upsets on some teams in front of them in the region will help them wiggle their way into the NCAA tournament.
