MINOT, N.D. – Last night, Minot State women's hockey team suffered a 3-1 home loss to the Lions of Lindenwood University.
The Beavers (9-2) entered the weekend with only one loss on the season which also came at home. Lindenwood (8-1) has also had a remarkable season thus far with only one loss prior to the two-game set with MSU.

In the second period, Minot State narrowed the margin to one score.
Ensley Fendelet put one past the goalie despite MSU being shorthanded.
After the second intermission, Lindenwood halted any Beaver optimism with another goal in the third period. Kennedy Frank scored the dagger with the help of Read's assist.
