MINOT, N.D.- The Minot State University women's soccer team is set to open NSIC conference play at the Herb Parker Stadium Friday, Sept. 9th at 5 p.m. The Beavers face the University of Minnesota Duluth Friday and return to action Sunday at noon to face St. Cloud State.
The Beavers enter the weekend with a record of 0-1-2 on the season and look to get their first win against the Duluth Bulldogs. Minot State's previous matchup against Montana State Billings ended in a 1-1 draw. Daisy De Boer led the way with the only goal for the Beavers in Tuesday's game.
Scouting the Bulldogs
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs enter the weekend with a record of 1-2 following back-to-back losses against Northern Michigan and St. Cloud State. The Bulldogs have given up eight goals this season and are led offensively by junior Jackie Jares. Jares has two goals and one assist in the 2022 season.
Scouting the Huskies
St. Cloud State enters conference play with a record of 1-2, following a 4-1 victory against Minnesota Duluth. The Beavers are 8-3 overall against the Huskies, with a 1-0 win in the 2021 season.
Minot State Key Players
Offensively, Daisy de Boer, Hadlee Paxman, and Mila Robichon lead the way for Minot State, each scoring one goal so far this season. Defensively. Maddie Kindred has 13 saves while starting in goal the first three games of the season.
Following NSIC opening weekend, the Beavers return home Sept. 16th and 18th to face Southwest Minnesota State University and the University of Sioux Falls.
