MINOT, N.D. -- Minot State held Minnesota Crookston scoreless and ran away with a 4-0 shutout win Friday at home at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium.

Minot State improved to 5-6-1 overall and 2-5-1 in NSIC action after the victory.

Minot State broke the scoreless tie when Maria Pacheco Martinez recorded her first goal of the season in the fifth minute, assisted by Jessica Groen.

The Beavers scored again on a goal from Crystyn Isbister -- her first goal of the season -- in the 58th minute, assisted by Rebecca Storr.

Minot State made it a 3-0 advantage on Lola Onsurez's 76th-minute goal, her second of the season. Yossi Villagrana assisted on the goal.

The Beavers went ahead 4-0 with an 86th-minute goal from Anabel Noches, her first goal of the season. Neither team scored again in the game.
