ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Beavers ran into a hot goalie Saturday afternoon who simply could not be beaten.

UNLV's Zach Wickson stopped all 25 shots he faced, helping the fourth-ranked Rebels pull off a 3-0 upset of the No. 1 Minot State men's hockey team on day two of the ACHA Showcase.

UNLV (12-3-0 overall) scored late in the first period of what proved to be a close contest, which stayed a 1-0 game until midway through the third period when the Rebels tacked on a pair of goals to help ice the win.

Jake Anthony finished with 19 saves in goal for the Beavers (12-2-0), who wrap up the weekend playing No. 11 Ohio at noon on Sunday.
