MINOT, N.D. – Back on home ice, the 10
th-ranked Minot State women's hockey team came up empty Friday against the visiting Saints and it ended up costing the Beavers.
Fifth-ranked Maryville (9-4-0 overall) scored twice in the second period, all the offense either team could muster, as Minot State (4-7-0) fell 2-0 in ACHA action at the Maysa Arena.
Both teams return to action for game two of their weekend series at the Maysa Arena on Saturday at 3:45 p.m.
Haylie Biever finished with 11 saves in goal on the day for the Beavers.
