Beaver starting pitchers Dominick Parkhurst and Byrant Bagshaw each picked up a win, improving to 3-0 each for Minot State, which plays another doubleheader against the host Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Sunday starting at 1 p.m.

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- The Minot State Beavers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and never surrendered the advantage on the way to a 9-2 win over the Southwest Baptist Bearcats on Saturday.
Dominick Parkhurst (3-0) started on the mound and picked up the win for Minot State. The right-hander went 4.2 innings, giving up two runs, both of them earned, on seven hits, allowing one walk and striking out five.
