MINOT, N.D. -- Minot State got contributions from every part of their lineup as all nine starters reached base safely, helping the Beavers put eight runs on the board and take down the Northern State Wolves 8-3 on Sunday to complete their NSIC weekend baseball series.
Junior Gage Yost (3-1) started on the mound and picked up the win for Minot State (22-11 overall, 13-8 NSIC). The right-hander went six innings, giving up one run on six hits, allowing three walks, and striking out six. Sophomore Colton Bagshaw also made an impact on the mound for the Beavers, throwing one scoreless inning while allowing no hits, with one walk, and one strikeout.
Offensively, the Beavers were led by junior Mark Ossanna, who went 2-for-4 on the day with a home run and two RBI. Senior Derek Kay put together a standout performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Sophomore Dalin Ludlow also helped out for Minot State, putting together three hits in three trips to the plate while adding two doubles and two RBI.

Northern State put two runs on the scoreboard before the game was over, but Minot State still coasted to the 8-3 win.
