MINOT, N.D. - Minot State is at home Saturday and Sunday for a two-game set against Midland University. On Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, the Beavers are taking on Midland University at the Maysa Arena. Saturday's game, faculty and staff appreciation game, is at 3:45 pm and Sunday's game is at 1:00 pm. Minot State is currently ranked #12 on the most recent ACHA poll and is 4-2-0 on the season. Midland University is currently ranked #4 on the most recent ACHA poll and is 7-1-0 on the season 

This weekend's two-game set against Midland University are the third and fourth games against Midland this season. Back on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, the Beavers were on the road in Fremont, Nebraska to take on Midland University. In these two games, Midland University won game one 2-0 in regulation and won game two 3-0 in regulation. The history between these two teams dates all the back to 2019. Over the years, the Beavers have won 7 games against Midland, and Midland have won 18 games against the Beavers with 3 of these wins coming in overtime. Midland and Minot State are two extremely strong hockey teams, and this weekend the Beavers will be looking to get even against the Warriors. 

The Beavers are coming off of two wins against the University of Jamestown at the Maysa Arena. On Friday, October 11, the Beavers defeated the University of Jamestown 5-1 in regulation. On Saturday, October 12, the Beavers defeated the University of Jamestown 3-2 in a shootout. The Beavers will be looking to continue their momentum this weekend.
