MINOT, N.D. - On Saturday, October 26, the Beavers took down #4 Midland University 4-1 in regulation at the Maysa Arena for the Beaver's fifth straight win.
The two teams meet again on Sunday, October 27, at 1:00 pm at the Maysa Arena to wrap up the weekend series.
Coming off of their two-game sweep against the University of Jamestown two weekends ago, the Beavers came out firing against a strong Midland team, as
Journey Miller scored her first of two goals on the day in the final few minutes of the opening period.
Midland knotted the game up at 1-1 on a power play goal scored by Keagan Shearer at 13:48 into the second period. Minot State answered back a couple minutes later with a goal scored by
Payton Lang at 16:42 into the second period to make it 2-1.
The Beavers continued the goal scoring quickly in the third period with a goal scored by
Mia Mckee at 3:56 into the period to make it 3-1.
Journey Miller put the game on ice with an empty-net goal in the final minutes of the third period for her second goal on the day to make it 4-1. After the game was tied up 1-1 in the second period, the Beavers scored three unanswered goals to secure the win against Midland by a final score of 4-1.

Kaitlyn Snyder were all credited with an assist in Saturday's win, and Minot State goalie
Morgan Baker made 29 saves on 30 shots on goal to secure the victory.
