MINOT, N.D. - The Minot State Beavers women's hockey team is set to host #4 Adrian College in a two-game series at the Maysa Arena. The Beavers take on Adrian College on Friday, November 15, at 3:45 pm for game one, and on Saturday, November 16, at 3:45 pm for game two. This series is a 2024 National Championship rematch and game one on Friday is the ACHA women's division 1 game of the week. Minot State is currently ranked #6 with a record of 10-3-0, and Adrian College is currently ranked #4 with a record of 11-3-1.
Minot State is coming off of a great weekend of hockey where they went 3-0 in the WMCH Showcase in Missouri. On Thursday, November 7, the Beavers defeated #13 Lindenwood University in overtime by a final score of 3-2. On Friday, November 8, the Beavers defeated the University of Minnesota by a final score of 2-0. On Saturday, November 9, the Beavers defeated #3 McKendree University by a final score of 2-1. The Beavers are currently riding a 4 game winning streak and are looking to extend that streak against Adrian College.
The biggest story going into this series is that this will be a rematch of the 2024 National Championship. Back on March 17, 2024, the Beavers fell to Adrian College by a final score of 4-1. Historically, the Beavers hold 4 total wins against Adrian College, while Adrian holds 8 wins over the Beavers. The Beavers will be looking for some sweet revenge against Adrian College in this weekend's series.
