Pua Beebe led the way as she won by pin for the Beavers, who cruised to a 23-3 dual win over host Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday in women's wrestling action.
Emily Light also added a pin in an extra match for the Beavers, which did not count toward the team total, while
Skye Shelmerdine received a forfeit and
Haleigh Lematta won by injury default.
Beebe's pin came in 53 seconds in her 138-pound match against Mady Sargent and gave Minot State (2-3 duals) a comfortable 14-0 lead in the dual at the time.
Shelmerdine got Minot State on the board with her forfeit win at 124 points, then
Keela Kary added to the Beaver scoring with a 10-0 technical fall victory at 131 points over Adrian Farren.
After Beebe's pin, Lematta added to the Minot State total with her injury default at 145 pounds, then after the Tigers scored their lone win of the match at 160 pounds before
Madilyn Schuck wrapped up the Minot State scoring with an 11-0 tech fall win at 207 pounds over Kaitlin Gay.
Light then added a pin in 2:11 at 131 pounds in an extra match against Farren.
Minot State is back on the road Wednesday night for one final dual before the end of the calendar year, wrestling at Sioux Falls at 6 p.m.
