MINOT, N.D. - The #2 ranked Minot State Beavers men's hockey team is set to host #14 University of Mary for a midweek match-up on Wednesday, January 8, at 7:00 pm at the Maysa Arena. For Wednesday's game, the Beavers will be hosting Hockey Booster Night and Youth Sports Night at the Maysa Arena. This match-up is the fourth meeting of the year between these two teams as the Beavers are currently 3-0-0 this season against the University of Mary. Minot State currently holds a record of 20-2-3, while the University of Mary holds a record of 16-6-0 on the season.
The Beavers are currently coming off of a two-game series sweep over #17 Midland University back on Saturday, January 4, and Sunday, January 5. In game one, Minot State shut out Midland with a final score of 8-0. In game two, Minot State shut out Midland once again with a final score of 6-0. The Beavers outscored their opponent 14-0 in the two-game series and are looking to continue their impressive offensive display against the University of Mary on Wednesday.
