MINOT, ND -- The #2 Minot State Beavers men's hockey team is back on home ice this weekend, hosting #8 Maryville University for a two-game series at the Maysa Arena. Game one is scheduled for Friday, October 17, at 7:30 pm, with game two set for Saturday, October 18, at 7:30 pm.
The Beavers enter the weekend with a 1-0-1 record, while Maryville comes in at 5-2-0 on the season.
Minot State is coming off an intense home series split against in-state rival #6 University of Jamestown. The Beavers took game one by a score of 3-2, before falling in overtime 4-3 in game two.
Historically, these two programs have played competitive hockey against each other, with Minot State holding a 2-1-2 record all-time versus Maryville. The last meeting between the two teams came on February 8, 2025, when the Beavers skated to a 5-1 victory.
