FREMONT, NE -- The #2 Minot State Beavers men's hockey team is back on the road this weekend, traveling to Fremont, Nebraska, for a two-game series against #25 Midland University. Game one is scheduled for Friday, October 24, at 7:00 pm, followed by game two on Saturday, October 25, at 7:00 pm.
 
Minot State enters the weekend with a 3-0-1 record, while Midland holds a 2-6-0 record on the season.
 
The Beavers are coming off an impressive home sweep of #8 Maryville University, winning 3-1 in game one and 5-2 in game two. Minot State has yet to lose in regulation this season and has generated strong offensive production while staying disciplined defensively.
 
Historically, the Beavers have dominated the matchup against Midland, holding a 16-0 all-time record against the Warriors. The last meeting came on January 5, 2025, when Minot State secured a 6-0 victory.

William Dyke has been strong to start the season, holding a 3-0-1 record, along with a 0.919 save percentage and 2.22 goals-against average.
 
Following the weekend series in Nebraska, the Beavers will return home for a marquee matchup at the Maysa Arena, hosting #1 UNLV in a top-two showdown on Tuesday, October 28, at 7:30 pm.
