DULUTH, Minnesota -- Minot State grabbed a 3-1 victory over Minnesota Duluth Friday (Oct. 3) on the road at James S. Malosky Stadium.
The victory boosted Minot State's record to 3-4-1 overall and 3-1-1 in NSIC action.
How it Happened
Minot State took a 1-0 lead when Sabrina Amezcua scored her first goal of the season in the 22nd minute, assisted by Brittney Egbert and Sierra Haren.
The Beavers tacked on another score on a goal from Egbert -- her third goal of the season -- in the 24th minute.
Minot State went up 3-0 on Anna Miotto's 25th-minute goal, her fourth of the season. Amezcua and Egbert assisted the goal.
The Bulldogs made it a 3-1 match with an 87th-minute goal from Alyssa Doyle.
