MINOT, ND -- The second ranked Minot State Beavers men's hockey team returns to home ice for a rivalry showdown against No. 12 University of Mary on Friday, October 31, at 7:30 pm at the Maysa Arena.
Friday's game also features a Trunk or Treat event between the women's and men's games which provides a fun Halloween atmosphere for fans and families.
Minot State enters the matchup with a 6-0-1 record, while UMary arrives with a 9-3-0 record.
The Beavers are coming off one of their biggest wins of the season with a 4-2 victory over No. 1 UNLV in Minot on Tuesday which was a highly anticipated battle between the top two teams in the nation.
Minot State has frequently had the upper hand in this in-state rivalry. The Beavers hold a 16-2-0 all time record against UMary. The last time the rivals met was on January 26, 2025, and Minot State earned a 6-2 win.

Colby Joseph leads the Beavers in scoring with 11 points and also leads the team with 5 goals. On the blue line,
Christian Kadolph has totaled 9 points to lead all defensemen and is tied with
Logan Rands for the team lead in goals among defensemen with 2 each. In goal,
William Dyke continues his strong start to the year with a 5-0-1 record, a 0.907 save percentage, and a 2.31 goals-against average.
Following Friday's home matchup, the Beavers will be back on the road in Bismarck, North Dakota to face UMary once again on Saturday, November 8, at 7:00 pm.
