MINOT, ND -- The #4 Minot State Beavers women's hockey team is set for a marquee matchup this weekend as they welcome top-ranked Midland University to the Maysa Arena for a two-game series. Game one is scheduled for Friday, October 31, at 3:45 pm, and game two is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, at 3:45 pm.
Friday's game will also include a Trunk or Treat event between the women's and men's games which provides a fun Halloween experience for fans in attendance.
Minot State enters the weekend with a 4-2-4 record, while Midland arrives with a 16-1-0 record and currently sits at the top of the ACHA rankings.
The Beavers are riding momentum after a strong showing against #4 Arizona State. Minot State went 1-0-1 in the two-game series which included a 2-2 tie in the opener and a 4-0 shutout victory in game two.
Historically, the matchup has been closely contested. Minot State holds a 10-17-3 overall record against Midland. The last time these programs met was on March 18, 2024, and Midland earned a 1-0 victory.

Following this weekend's series, the Beavers will be on the road in Jamestown, North Dakota, for a two-game series against the University of Jamestown. Game one will be played on Friday, November 14, at 7:00 pm, and game two will be played on Saturday, November 15, at 3:00 pm.
