The Minot State women's soccer team enters its final home weekend of the regular season. Last week, the Beavers earned a dominant 4-0 victory over Southwest Minnesota State, powered by two goals from Sabrina Amezcua and additional tallies from Leilany Ponce and Anna Miotto. They followed up with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the University of Sioux Falls, highlighted by a perfectly placed free kick from Sierra Haren.
Minot State will look to carry that momentum into this weekend's home stand as they continue to battle for home-field advantage in the upcoming NSIC playoffs. The Beavers host University of Minnesota Crookston on Thursday, October 31 at 5 p.m., before celebrating Senior Day on Sunday, November 2 at 2 p.m. against Minnesota State Moorhead.
With postseason positioning on the line, the Beavers will aim to finish strong in front of their home crowd at First Western Bank Field.
