MINOT, ND -- The #3 Minot State Beavers men's hockey team returns home to the Maysa Arena this weekend for a rivalry matchup against #9 University of Jamestown. Game one is scheduled for Friday, November 14, at 7:30 pm, and game two will follow on Saturday, November 15, at 7:30 pm.
Minot State enters the weekend with a 7-1-1 record, while Jamestown comes in at 9-4-0.
The Beavers look to bounce back after a tight 2-1 loss to the University of Mary on November 8 in Bismarck. These two teams are familiar foes this season, having already met for a two-game series in early October. Minot State earned a 3-2 win in game one on October 10, and Jamestown claimed a 4-3 overtime victory on October 11.

Colby Joseph continues to lead the way offensively for Minot State with 13 points and a team-high 6 goals. On the blue line,
Christian Kadolph leads all Beaver defensemen with 11 points, while Kadolph,
Matthew Yakubowski, and
Logan Rands share the team lead in goals among defensemen with 2 each. In goal, Will Dyke remains a steady presence with a 6-1-1 record, a 0.919 save percentage, and a 2.11 goals-against average.
Following this weekend's series, the Beavers will head to Chicago, Illinois, to compete in the ACHA Showcase. Minot State will open Showcase play on Friday, November 21, at 4:50 pm against UNLV, face the University of Utah on Saturday, November 22, at 2:40 pm, and close the weekend against Arizona State University on Sunday, November 23, at 11:50 am.
