ROMEOVILLE, IL -- The #3 Minot State Beavers men's hockey team heads to Illinois this weekend for the ACHA Showcase, hosted at Canlan Sports in Romeoville. The Beavers will take on three opponents across three days. Game one is scheduled for Friday, November 21, at 4:50 pm against #8 UNLV. Game two is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, at 2:40 pm against #17 University of Utah. Game three is scheduled for Sunday, November 23, at 11:50 am against Arizona State University.
Minot State arrives in Illinois with a 9-1-1 record after a strong weekend at home where the Beavers swept #9 Jamestown by scores of 3-1 and 2-1.
The Beavers are familiar with their first Showcase opponent. Minot State defeated UNLV earlier this season on October 28 in Minot by a final score of 4-2. Saturday's matchup with the University of Utah will mark the first ever meeting between the two programs. The Beavers close the weekend on Sunday against Arizona State. The last time Minot State faced the Sun Devils was November 17, 2023, resulting in a 4-3 Minot State victory.

Following the ACHA Showcase, Minot State will travel to Lynchburg, Virginia, for a two-game series against Liberty University. Game one is scheduled for Friday, December 5, at 11:59 pm (ET) and game two is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at 7:00 pm (ET).
