MINOT, ND -- The #4 Minot State Beavers women's hockey team prepares for one of its biggest tests of the season as they welcome undefeated #1 Liberty University to the Maysa Arena for a two-game series. Game one is scheduled for Friday, November 21, at 3:45 pm, and game two is set for Saturday, November 22, at 3:45 pm.
Minot State enters the weekend with a 6-2-6 record, while Liberty arrives at 14-0-0 and remains the top ranked team in the nation.
The Beavers carry momentum into the matchup after sweeping #10 Jamestown last weekend. Minot State opened the series with a 3-0 shutout win and followed with a 5-3 victory in game two.
Historically, the series between these programs has been competitive. Minot State owns a 4-7-2 all-time record against Liberty. The most recent meeting occurred on February 22, 2025, when the Beavers dropped a close 2-1 decision.
