Minot State earns 2-1 victory against University Mary

MINOT, ND -- Minot State grabbed a 2-1 win against University Mary Thursday (Nov. 6) at home at Herb Parker Stadium.

The victory boosted Minot State's record to 9-5-4 overall and 9-2-4 in NSIC action. The win secured the Beavers a first round playoff game at home, tentatively scheduled for Monday November 10 at 5 p.m.

How it Happened

Minot State broke the 0-0 tie when Brittney Egbert scored her fourth goal of the season in the 20th minute, assisted by Sabrina Amezcua.

The Beavers went up 2-0 on a goal from Emerie Campbell -- her third goal of the season -- in the 26th minute, assisted by Amezcua.

University Mary closed the gap to 2-1 on Olivia Gardner's 32nd-minute goal, assisted by Dina Polanco. The 2-1 score held to the finish.
