Minot State Men's Wrestling travels to Jamestown tomorrow night looking to build on past success. The Beavers last faced Jamestown in November of 2022 and came away with a dominant 40-3 victory, a result that adds confidence as they prepare for another road dual. The Beavers are set to compete at 7 p.m. in the Harold Newman Arena.
The lower and middle weights present key opportunities for the Beavers to set the tone. At 125,
Cole Faircloth brings experience and a 9--5 record, while
Dylan McDonald remains an option in the lineup.
Andrew Worthington (2-3) at 133 and
Ethan Wonser (3-4) at 141 will look to establish momentum. The 149 and 157 weight classes offer flexibility with
Brayden Guerrero,
Robert Salehi, and
Tristan Pekas all potential contributors.
In the upper weights,
John Armstrong (5-4) at 165 and
Gavin Turk (11-3) at 174 provide consistency, with Turk entering as one of the team's most successful wrestlers this season.
Brogan Flannigan (3-5) at 184,
Shafer Ehmke (7-6) at 197, and either
Carmine Morton (7-7) or
Zach Allen (4-5) at heavyweight round. As the Beavers take the mat in Jamestown, they will aim to continue to build momentum as the season moves forward.
