FREMONT, NE -- The #6 Minot State Beavers women's hockey team is back on the road this weekend for a two-game series against #2 Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska. The Beavers and Warriors face off on Friday, December 5, at 5:00 pm and Saturday, December 6, at 4:00 pm.
Minot State enters the weekend with a 6-4-6 record, while Midland holds a 20-1-2 mark and continues to sit near the top of the national standings. The Beavers look to regroup after a challenging home series against #1 Liberty, where both games ended in 3-0 finals.
This will be the second meeting of the season between Minot State and Midland. The teams played earlier this year on October 31 and November 1, when the Beavers earned a 1-1 tie in game one and Midland claimed a 2-1 overtime win in game two. Historically, the Warriors have had the upper hand in the matchup, with Minot State holding a 10-17-4 record in the all-time series.

Following this weekend's road series, the Beavers will return home to the ND State Fairgrounds (All Seasons Arena) for a two-game set against Jamestown on Friday, January 9, at 3:45 pm and Saturday, January 10, at 3:45 pm.
