The Minot State women's wrestling team hits the road this weekend, traveling to Hays, Kansas for a challenging dual against No. 10 Fort Hays State on Friday, December 5th at 7 p.m., with additional competition scheduled for Saturday, December 6th at 9 a.m. The Beavers bring a full and developing lineup into the weekend as they continue building depth and experience across all weights. At 103 pounds,
Kaiya Lopes (3-6) leads things off, followed by
Alexa Garcia (0-0) at 110, who is set to make her season debut. At 117,
Hi'ilani Malano-Dando (1-2) faces a tough test against No. 10-ranked Leiannah Landreth, one of the Tigers' nationally recognized competitors. Minot State will look for strong production from
Alyssa Jones (11-4) at both 124 and 131, supported by
Skye Shelmerdine (6-7) and
Keela Kary (1-5) in the same weights.
At 138, Pua Beebe (9-5) has been a consistent performer throughout the season, while
Chloe Parsons (3-5) steps into the spotlight at 145 for a ranked match up against No. 8 Dylen Richey of Fort Hays. The Beavers' middle and upper weights feature
Aliana Barnoski (3-2). and
Gracie Tolman (1-3). sharing time at 160, followed by a premier match up at 180 pounds where
Lillian Garrett (4-5) or Madylin Schuck (7-5) will take on Isabella Renfro, the No. 1- ranked wrestler in the nation. Closing out the lineup is
Aniya Herbin (9-4) at 207, who continues to build a strong easy season resume.
