JAMESTOWN, ND -- The #2 Minot State Beavers men's hockey team is back in action on Wednesday, December 10, as they hit the road for a midweek matchup against in-state rival #7 University of Jamestown. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 pm in Jamestown, North Dakota.
The Beavers enter the rivalry contest with a 14-1-1 record following a dominant road sweep of #8 Liberty University last weekend, winning game one 5-0 and game two 4-1. Jamestown enters Wednesday's match up with a current record of 11-8-0.
Historically, Minot State has controlled the series, holding a 31-4-1 advantage over the Jimmies. This season, the Beavers are 3-0-1 against Jamestown, including a tight 2-1 victory on November 15 in Minot.

Forward
Colby Joseph continues to pace the Minot State offense, leading all Beaver forwards with 21 points and 13 goals. On the back end,
Matthew Yakubowski leads the Beaver defensemen with 17 points, while he and
Logan Rands share the team lead among blueliners with 3 goals each. In net,
William Dyke has been exceptional, entering the matchup with an 11-1-1 record, a 0.934 save percentage, and a 1.69 goals-against average.
Following Wednesday's rivalry matchup, the Beavers return home to Minot for an exhibition game against Lake Region State College on Saturday, December 13, with puck drop slated for 6:30 pm at the ND State Fairgrounds (All Seasons Arena).
