MINOT, ND - The #1 ranked Minot State Beavers men's hockey team are set to host #9 Maryville University for the final two-game home series of the season on Friday, February 7, and Saturday, February 8. Game one, on Friday, is scheduled for 7:30 pm at the Maysa Arena, and the Beavers will be celebrating Agriculture Night sponsored by Farmers Choice Seed. Game two, on Saturday, is scheduled for 7:30 pm at the Maysa Arena, and the Beavers will be celebrating Senior Night. The Beavers currently hold a record of 29-2-3, while Maryville University currently holds a record of 16-8-3.

Minot State is coming off of a big win in Jamestown, North Dakota against their in-state rival, the University of Jamestown. On Friday, January 31, the Beavers defeated the University Jamestown in overtime by a final score of 3-2. The Beavers are currently riding an 11-game winning streak and will be looking to continue their success this weekend against Maryville University.
Minot State and Maryville met once already this season back on November 23, 2024 at the Maryville Showcase. In the game, the Beavers battled, but eventually fell to Maryville in a shootout. The Beavers will be looking for some retribution against Maryville this weekend.

Joey Moffatt is the leading Beaver forward in both points scored and goals scored with 38 points and 22 goals on the season.
Logan Rands is the leading Beaver defensemen in both points scored and goals cored with 30 points and 14 goals on the season.

Jake Anthony currently holds a 15-2-2 record with a 0.924 save percentage, and
William Dyke currently holds a 11-0-1 record with a 0.935 save percentage.
Following the final two-game home series of the season against #9 Maryville University, the Beavers will be back in action on the road for their final regular season two-game series in Athens County, Ohio, to take on the University of Ohio. Game one is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, at 7:00 pm, and game two is scheduled for Sunday, February 16, at 2:00 pm.
